Ricoh MFPs and printers

What Ricoh says [A]
- Affected when Basic auth stops: scan-to-email, internet fax, fax to email address, on-demand and auto email notification, Mail to Print error notification.
- OAuth 2.0 firmware has been released for the models in Table 1 and Table 2 (many IM, MP, SP, P, Pro series; each row shows a minimum firmware version). Look up your exact model; the page lists dozens.
- Update with the RICOH Firmware Update Tool (some models need your Ricoh dealer), then configure OAuth in Web Image Monitor following Ricoh's setup guide for your table.
- You must specify an administrator email address; it is used as sender for scan and error mails and as the From for SMTP authentication.
- Ricoh also says some products, including models that already support OAuth 2.0, will no longer be able to send or receive email via Exchange Online after a Microsoft TLS cipher-suite update; see Ricoh's page for the details and affected models. We did not verify Microsoft's side of this.
- Until firmware exists for a model, Ricoh recommends "methods that do not rely on email transition or using email services other than Exchange Online".
What we could not verify
- Ricoh's setup guide PDFs (linked from the page) were not opened.
- Microsoft's TLS cipher change (dates, which ciphers).
