Brother printers, MFCs and scanners

What Brother says [V]
- Affected features: Scan to Email Server, Internet Fax, Email Reports, Email Notifications.
- "If your machine is not listed, it does not support OAuth 2.0." Listed models are marked either:
- ※1: already supports OAuth 2.0, no firmware update needed, configure the OAuth 2.0 settings; or
- ※2: supports OAuth 2.0 but you must update to the latest firmware first (already available), then configure.
- The list covers many MFC-J, MFC-L, HL-L, DCP-L, HL-EX/MFC-EX and ADS scanner models. Look up your exact model on the page; do not infer from the series name.
- For unlisted models Brother's own suggestion is "an alternative email service (for example, Gmail)". For Microsoft 365 the alternatives are in the generic guide (HVE for internal-only mail, SMTP relay connector, third-party service, or your own mail server).
What we could not verify
- Brother's "how to configure OAuth 2.0" page (the "click here" links): not opened. Use Brother's page for the actual menu steps.
- Other regions' lists may differ from the US page.
